Service With A Purpose

The Owner & His Mission

Hi, I’m Gabriel Fernandez —the Owner & Operator of The Purpose Factory, as well as a Colorado State Certified Peer and Family Support Specialist with over five years of experience in the mental health field. My journey began as a front line inpatient staff member. I then moved to out patient Peer Support Specialist work and quickly found myself creating, supervising, and leading a Peer Support Specialist program at one of Colorado’s largest mental health nonprofits. During that time, I dedicated my client work primarily to adolescents on probation, focusing on substance use recovery, teaching life skills, and helping them build pathways toward brighter futures.

I’m a proud father to a daughter, a Colorado Springs native, and now a Pueblo resident and Social Impact Entrepreneur at heart. I truly believe in being the helping hand I once needed — empowering local youth to discover passion through purpose. I specialize in helping adolescents create wellness plans, set meaningful goals, and develop the work and life skills needed to build a future they are truly proud of.

My Purpose Program is dedicated to empowering adolescents, ages 12 to 18 within Pueblo County, with the essential job and life skills needed to build productive, fulfilling lives. Through hands-on experiences, mentorship, and real-world opportunities, we support young people in discovering their passions and turning them into purpose through goal setting and hard work. Our vision is to one day establish a physical after-school safe space where youth can grow, learn, and pursue their dreams in a supportive and inspiring environment. We believe that by investing in the potential of our youth today, we are building a stronger, brighter tomorrow.

Through every interaction, I aim to inspire resilience, self-worth, and a belief that a fulfilling life is within reach — with the right support.
